A fire brick, firebrick, or refractory brick is a block ofrefractory ceramic material used in lining furnaces, kilns, fireboxes, and fireplaces. A refractory brick is built primarily to withstand high temperature, but will also usually have a low thermal conductivity for greater energy efficiency.

As with the pavers, dry-pressing provides consistency and uniformity, resulting in accurate dimensions and a higher quality finished product. Dimensional stability also makes for faster and easier installation. Dry-pressed fireplace brick are available in various sizes. Whitacre-Greer offers 2 colors of brick, in buff and red.
